Expert Analysis
Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
The whole Fury-Sabin team was rolling last night as they won by nearly 40 points in their opener, with Noah being one of the players who really stood out. At 6’5 he has the ability to catch fire from out beyond the arc, and last night was connecting at a high level on his jumper. He moves well off the ball, and has good coordination to quickly get his feet set to catch-and-shoot off the move. He’ll look to break into the varsity rotation at Wayzata this upcoming season as a senior.

Noah is yet another wing/forward coming out of Wayzata that combines size, skill, and shooting touch. Standing at 6’4 he provides a floor stretching option for a well-rounded Minnesota Fury team. He’s not just a shooter though, as Noah is comfortable handling the ball, and was able to create off the dribble by getting into the lane and locating an open man. Well-rounded player who keeps the ball moving, doesn’t over dribble, and makes quick decisions when the ball comes his way.

Noah showed off tons of potential in the 3v3 portion of camp, as he has a lot of skill to match with his lengthy 6’4” frame. He showed major flashes of a perimeter game, looking comfortable scoring the ball from outside. McCarty was tough to stop when getting to a fadeaway in the post as well.

Wayzata always seems to have a plethora of skilled, long, forwards/wings coming up in their program, and Noah looks to be one of the next ones to keep an eye on. He was excellent cutting without the ball, showcased good vision to set up his teammates, and has soft touch from beyond the arc. Noah just seemed to make the right choice every time the ball came his way, and at 6’4 he has an intriguing blend of length and skill moving forward.

Noah has some good length as a 6’2” shooting guard/wing. He couples that with some solid athleticism as well. Saw him bang in the post some defensively as well. He could get off the floor and board the ball on both ends. Averaged 8.3 ppg. in four games, making seven threes total.
