Expert Analysis
Ryan Schmidt | Prep Hoops Scout
Micah McNeal is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2030 Wayzata guard that hit his 3-point attempt with what looked like a good shot motion, had enough ball handling skill to be a guard to bring the ball up, and has solid size at this age group.

I really liked Micah’s game and the way he was able to affect the game in so many different ways. He is a winning basketball prospect, playing hard and unselfishly. He was good size and strength for a freshman guard, rebounding the ball well and giving great effort defensively. He could create off the dribble, dishing to teammates, also working himself inside where he could finish with touch around the rim.

Micah impressed with his versatility as a forward prospect on Friday night, impacting the game in a variety of ways. He was one of the strongest players at camp, but able to make a difference inside with his rebounding and defending. McNeal also showed flashes of perimeter skills, as he is a capable scorer and handler.
