Ramadan hit back to back threes, got out for some transition finishes, and dished out a number of assists to turn a deficit into a 10+ point lead within minutes. Ramadan was showcasing impressive vision, getting into dangerous spots off the dribble before dumping it off to a big or kicking it out to a wide open shooter. Defenders simply couldn't stick in front of him 1v1, allowing him to create a lot of openings for his Cedar Riverside teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='2409303' first='Ramadan' last='Ibrahim'] had the big second half for [program_tooltip program_id='2075425' first='CRCTB' last=''], but it was Adnan producing in the first half to keep his team in the game. A quick and energetic guard, Adnan was allover the floor causing disruptions on the defensive end. He was pressuring the ball hard, competed for rebounds against bigger players, and showed good instincts to jump passing lanes for steals. Mohamed was able to turn a lot of those steals into easy transition points for his team as they came away with a win on night one.

Donovan continued to have a very productive spring/summer, making plays on both ends of the floor running with MTXE Premier. Within the opening few minutes of the game Donovan hit a mid-range jumper, picked up two steals, and deflected another pass. He was extremely active on the defensive end, not taking a single possession off as he showed good lateral quickness to defend either guard spot. Composed finisher in transition with the body control to convert on some contested looks at the rim.

The whole Fury-Sabin team was rolling last night as they won by nearly 40 points in their opener, with Noah being one of the players who really stood out. At 6'5 he has the ability to catch fire from out beyond the arc, and last night was connecting at a high level on his jumper. He moves well off the ball, and has good coordination to quickly get his feet set to catch-and-shoot off the move. He'll look to break into the varsity rotation at Wayzata this upcoming season as a senior.

Santiago was another Fury player firing on all cylinders last night for Fury. It didn't matter if it was out beyond the arc, from mid-range, or right at the rim, Santi was finding ways to put points on the board. He has the ability to stop on a dime for a pull-up jumper, getting good elevation on his shot to help him get it off against taller guards. Connell usually plays as more of a true point guard who gets his team into their offense and provides a vocal presence on the floor, but last night showed he can put points on the board on his own as well.

Rylan played a key role in helping lead his [program_tooltip program_id='2859102' first='Hoop' last='Habits Elite'] TLC team to a win in their opening game. The 2027 guard plays with good change of speed, sees the floor well, and has shooting range that extends to well beyond the three point line. He torched the Beast Elite defense for a couple of early jumpers, forcing them to guard him much tighter the remainder of the game. Going up against a team that liked to pressure the ball, Rylan was handling it well, and was able to get by his initial defender consistently to force an extra player to step up and leave a teammate open.
