– The six-foot-three-inch 2025 forward from Lakeview North has really stepped up for his senior year leading the Panthers in scoring at 16 points per game. Piscikas has shown he can be a very consistent outside shooter making multiple 3’s in games and putting together complete games like Chanhassen when he scored 20, had 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. He uses his above average leaping ability to rebound well, and uses that athleticism on the perimeter to deflect passes and block occasional shots.

Johanes continues to show why he could be in for a breakout senior season at Lakeville North. North graduated a lot of their top players from last season, and after playing primarily JV as a junior, Johanes could step up to fill in some of that lost production. The 2025 wing is an athletic slasher who excels at getting into the paint, able to elevate for dunks when given space, or play off two feet and finish with touch over length. Against East Ridge he did a great job of cutting without the ball to open up good looks inside, and finished at a high percentage around the rim.

Lakeville North may not have some of the big name prospects that they have in past years, but they still have some talent in the program. Johanes was a JV player last season, but looks to have the potential to step into a big varsity role this winter. He was the best player on the floor for Lakeville North in their game against Maple Grove, slashing to the rim for explosive finishes, and showcasing his ability to get to the rim off of limited dribbles. At 6’3 he has the blend of size and skill to play a variety of spots on the floor, and even spent some time running the point in this game.

I only got to catch the first half of Johanes’ game, but he did enough to impress in that time. He started off strong with a pair of early buckets that were opened up with his off-ball movement. Johanes makes great cuts off the ball, always finding bits of space to get into in order to catch and finish around the rim. Defensively he made an impact as a shot blocking threat, while also having the versatility to defend a variety of spots. At 6’3 with his athleticism, there aren’t many spots on the floor he can’t defend at the high school level. Could be a name to watch as someone ready to take on a bigger role at Lakeville North as a senior.

Lakeville North always seems to have a handful of prospects in reserve just waiting for their chance to breakout. Johanes could be next in line, as he was one of the most productive players I saw on Sunday afternoon. At 6’3 he’s an explosive athlete with a high work-rate, and that combination saw him dominate on the glass. He was constantly pulling in offensive rebounds and going right back up for an easy two points. Johanes threw down a handful of explosive dunks throughout the day as well, including a coast-to-coast drive that saw him weave through multiple defenders. He was working for high percentage shots, and earned them with a combination of dribble drives, backdoor cuts, and offensive rebounds. Really composed player who never looked sped up.
