After about eight minutes of play he racked up four lay-ups, two threes, and was fouled on another take to earn a trip to the free throw line. That production would slow a bit throughout the game, but he still showed flashes of that explosive burst at 6'4+ that makes him so tough to stop when he looks to attack. Really liked his effort picking up full-court and moving his feet to pressure smaller guards the length of the floor.

Dylan looks to be a shooter with some size in Minnesota's 2029 class. The Irondale prospect caught fire in the second half, draining three triples within the last one-two minutes of the game as his team ran away with the win. Has some size on his frame as well which allows him to defend either the three or four spots depending on what lineup his team puts on the floor. He's been a key part of his team's early success this spring.

Lucas is all arms and legs at this stage. Listed at 6'1, the 2029 wing has an extremely long frame and doesn't look nearly done growing yet. He had some nice flashes on Friday night for Sanford Sports 15u, knocking down a couple of threes and dishing out some nice passes to find his teammates cutting to the basket. Nice potential moving forward with his length and shooting touch.

Owen played harder than just about anyone I've seen this month in a matchup with Unity Stars Omaha. The 2029 wing out of New Ulm was fighting for every loose ball he could get to, and was battling on the glass against bigger forwards. Even playing without any subs, Owen never took his foot off the glass defensively. On the offensive end he stretched the floor with a handful of threes, and was fearless attacking the basket. Did a nice job of drawing some contact in the paint.

The 2029 guard running with Unity Stars Omaha 15u has some nice tools to work with moving forward. He has an extremely long frame at 6', and a creative handle to break defenders down and get to the rim. Does a nice job of playing off two feet around the basket which allows him to hang in the air and absorb contact to finish. Defensively his long arms allow him to get up in passing lanes or pick opposing guards' pockets on the ball. He capped off the win getting out in transition for an explosive dunk.

Ahtreil just has a nose for the rim. He has a well built frame as a freshman that helps him finish through contact, and he never seemed to force his game off the dribble. Simpson plays with impressive change of speed, able to lull defenders to sleep and then explode to the basket as soon as a gap opened up. Impressive stuff on night one from Ahtreil.

Miles had some nice moments on night one for [program_tooltip program_id='2859102' first='Hoop' last='Habits Elite']. He was the main ball handling option for his team, doing a nice job of handling against a high pressure defense and getting his team into their sets. Early in the game he got a defender in the air with a shot fake before side-stepping into a pull-up three. That was followed up shortly after with a tough and-one finish. Nice change of speed on the ball helped him get two feet in the paint and put points on the board for his team as a finisher or facilitator. Good vision to drive and kick it out to his shooters.
