The 16u level of the Great Plains Alliance was won by the [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] and it's the Fury that leads the way on the all event team!

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2400080' first='Nolan' last='Greene'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (Lakeville South). The MVP of the event and one of the elite players at the event overall. One of the smartest combo forwards I have ever covered.

[player_tooltip player_id='2385822' first='Brooks' last='Rechtzigel'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (Cannon Falls). Brooks is a player that is really coming into his own as a high level scorer not just in southeastern Minnesota or Clas AA, but in all of his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2395557' first='Gus' last='McKenna'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] (Pequot Lakes). The way Gus is playing week to week right now, it's going to be tough to keep him away from being a first team all state 16u talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2723975' first='Blake' last='Lundin'] of SSA South Dakota (Tea Area). Blake was making jumpers all over the Whitney Center. Pull-ups, feet set makes, and whatever else came his way, Blake knocked jumpers down.

[player_tooltip player_id='2442386' first='Mitch' last='Grant'] of Team Warwick (Tea Area). One of the best athletes at the event if not the best athlete at the event, Mitch is a great hooper and a South Dakota State football offered talent.

Second Team

Benjamin Koch of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (East Ridge). Koch has always been a known shooter but I think we are seeing a higher level of consistency from him not just as a shooter/scorer, but as a player. Pretty confident he can have a really nice year for the Raptors.

[player_tooltip player_id='2920933' first='Berant' last='Amborn'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] (Alexandria) . The Cardinal lead guard looks completely ready to take the ball for Alex next year and be a team leader the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386616' first='Gavin' last='Bauer'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (JWP). Defensively Bauer did some things that really caught my eye. Made players change direction, made players uncomfortable.

[player_tooltip player_id='2468988' first='Hudson' last='Hillman'] of SSA South Dakota (Harrisburg). A really good football prospect that brings that agility and physicality to the court and had a strong weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2413330' first='Judd' last='Layton'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] (Big Lake). This weekend was the best basketball I have seen Judd play since the showcase event a few falls back. He had a strong winter and was really consistent at the GPA.

Third team

[player_tooltip player_id='2416561' first='David' last='Kutey'] of Team Warwick (Sioux Falls Washington). Kutey and his change of pace and change of direction was really tough for teams to deal with.

[player_tooltip player_id='2480721' first='Noah' last='Woods'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (Sioux Falls Washington). The top prospect at the event played at a high level with his team competing up an age.

[player_tooltip player_id='2673170' first='Covin' last='Winter'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Shepherd (Mankato Loyola). Another 16u kid that is surely going to be 16u all state, Winter is looking like one of the better talents in Class A basketball for 26-27.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417308' first='Andrew' last='Ziemer'] of North Dakota Phenom (Central Cass). A top assist man in 16u this year, Ziemer led his team to a 3-1 weekend with the only loss being a buzzer beater.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397555' first='Brady' last='Molenaar'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (Buffalo). The Fury spent the weekend playing with six guys and they all played a ton consistently like Brady and still won the event.

The 16u level of the Great Plains Alliance was won by the
Minnesota Fury
and it's the Fury that leads the way on the all event team!
