Named to the All-Region 1 Team and both All-State teams, Andrew turned in an outstanding season. A key piece in his team’s State Tournament runner-up finish, Ziemer proved himself as one of the top point guards in North Dakota. He backed it up with strong production across the board, averaging 12.2 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and 7.3 APG while shooting an efficient 52.2% from the field. PHD is a big fan of his game—he’s an intriguing lead guard with excellent length who plays with pace and control. His ability to change speeds, slash to the rim, create for others with strong court vision, and score at all three levels makes him a constant threat. He also rebounds extremely well for a point guard. On top of his offensive impact, Andrew is a lockdown defender and one of the best on-ball defenders in North Dakota, bringing toughness and intensity on that end. Long guards with skill, feel, and a high IQ are always in demand, and he checks all the boxes.
