-One of the elite PG’s in the Dakota’s, next-level potential who is already gaining interested

-Expecting Ziemer to be the top PG/floor general/playmaker in the Impact Sports Center

-Does it all on both sides of the ball, I am curious to see how he is shooting it from beyond the arc

PHD: Walk me through your off-season. What did you do to improve your basketball game?

“This off-season I played a ton of ball. Lots of individual work and playing lots of up and down with good competition.“

PHD: What’s one specific part of your game you focused on improving this offseason, and where do you feel like you’ve made the most progress?

“I focused the most on my shooting. I saw lots of progress in that area throughout the AAU season.“

PHD: What does your fall look like right now? Are you playing another sport, or is it all basketball focused?

“No other sports in the fall. So all basketball focused.“

PHD: What are your goals for the coming season, both individually and for your team?

“I hope our team can play together and hopefully get back to where we were last year. I hope to improve all around from last year.“

PHD: Can you give some insight on an influential coach you have had? What made them memorable?

“I would say my high school coach right now, Matt Norman. He’s helped me become the player I am today.“

PHD: Time to give a shout to a teammate…Who do we need to know about from your high school team?

“It’s tough to highlight one, so I’d have to say all of them. Lots of guys on the team have been putting in some serious time this summer.“

PHD: Who is your favorite player to watch in college or the NBA, and why?

“I’d say my favorite player to watch is Anthony Edwards. It’s very entertaining to watch the energy he plays with.“

PHD: Where do you feel like your game has grown the most in the past year or two?

“I’d say my composure on the court and not letting a bad play affect the next play.“

PHD: Who pushes you the hardest, whether that’s a teammate, a coach, or someone you train with?

“All the guys I train with push me to be the best every time we play.“

PHD: Where is your hot spot on the floor or can you tell us about a “go-to” move you like to use?

“I’d say getting two feet in the paint is my g- to. I feel this opens opportunities to score and dish to teammates.“

“Andrew is a true floor general. He keeps getting better and better. He really improved and turned himself into a knockdown shooter. He is going to be a college basketball player. I recommend coaches get on him early.“

All-State this past season, 2nd Place at State, and Ziemer had an outstanding Club season. All signs point to Andrew being a complete star his junior season. Andrew is a high-end PG with smarts, skills, and length. His vision is next-level, changes speeds like a European sports car, is a creative finisher, and he locks down on defense.

-Intrigued with his length as a point guard, makes everyone better, super skilled

-Love his change of speed & handles, has been a stud in club hoops, high potential

Opponents: West Central United, MN Fury Shepherd, MN Hoop Troop, Uncheckable Elite

Is he the top true PG in this class? Ziemer has looked like it this club season. First you notice his height as a long lead guard, but it doesn’t take long to notice his razor-sharp skills, high IQ, change of speeds, and ability to create separation when slashing. This Squirrel is a high-level passer with anticipation, a wide field of view, and the precision to put the ball into tight windows. PHD is also a big fan of his creative and efficient finishing. We expect Andrew to be one of the best primary guards at the event. How does he shoot from 3-point land this weekend?

-Named All-State and helped the Squirrels finish 2nd at State, intrigued with his length at PG, high-level passing, court vision, and playmaking ability, super creative

-Amazing change of speeds & handles, impressive finisher, middy & floater game
