Marum is the elder statesman and Guss is an exciting up-and-comer. Both have nice length and they can score from every level. These two should feed off each other and thrive in Region 3. They could legit go 10-deep this season and they will be one of the elite in Class A. CC will be headlined by Ziemer and Lorenz. You will be hard-pressed to find two more skilled guards in Class A. Ziemer runs the 1 and sets the table for the Squirrels. However, Andrew can also score heavily and is a lockdown defender. Kash is a potent offensive weapon who fills it up from 3-point land and scores from every level on the way to the rack. Both guys can take over the game at any moment but also play within the system to get wins. Expect these Spartans to light the nets on fire. Crew is a playmaker, passer, lead guard, scorer, but also a knockdown 3-point shooter. He will hit a boatload of triples but will also set up and find [player_tooltip player_id='2237764' first='Sam' last='Chase'] for 3-balls all winter. Sam is a lethal catch-and-shoot sniper. It is fun watching these two work off of each other. They have quick triggers but are true and to the mark more often than not. Leading the charge will be future D1 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1680906' first='Aiden' last='Green']. He will rack up the assists this season, Aiden could easily lead AA in dimes. He will also do plenty of scoring. On the wing will be Mr. Majkrzak, spreading the defense and stroking the three-ball. Ryder will be stepping into a starting role and will be expected to provide a scoring punch and hit big shots. One thing we know for sure, Majkrzak is not afraid to pull the trigger in crunch time and he knows how to deliver. These two are major mismatch nightmares. Bakko is likely the top athlete in ND and at 6'6", he is ungaugable. Brooks dunks everything, is skilled, smart, and plays with razor-sharp instincts. Eli is an emerging left-handed talent who is ready for a breakout season. I like his work ethic and emerging sniper abilities. Will the Vikings put it all together and make a deep run at the State Tournament? Bosch is quick and fast, Richter is strong and explosive. They are also super talented 3-point shooters who can drill triples in a hurry. They will have many games where they drain several triples in a single game. Jordan and Shanahan will be two of the big dawgs for coach Brandt's squad. These two are high-profile shooters. Drew and Patrick showed that off this summer with NDP, these two can change the game from long range. Jordan is a righty with a sweet stroke and Shanahan is lefty sharpshooter. Other positive attributes are Drew's defense and Pat's athleticism/slashing. Expect OG to carry that momentum into this season; the Grovers will have high expectations. The big guns will be Saunders and Soper. Aidan is the PG, primary ball-handler, and deadly shooter (72 made 3's last season). He range runs deep and he gets hot in a hurry. Soper is a 3-level scorer, major athlete, and dynamic playmaker. Soper can play above the rim and make momentum plays. Bryson is a flame-throwing lefty with never-ending range. Deondre is a strong righty with a scorer's mentality and a short memory. He can get his jumper off about any time he pleases. If the Riders turn these two loose, they have the potential to simply outscore opposing teams. They lost some nice pieces but bring back All-State and stat-stuffer [player_tooltip player_id='2126219' first='Teelan' last='Kjerstad']. They also landed [player_tooltip player_id='2362037' first='Shooter' last='Frederick'] in the off-season; he is an epic addition. Frederick and Kjerstad ran together in club ball, so the chemistry should already be there. Is there a better backcourt in B? Teelan and Shooter will be a nasty combo with speed, length, shooting, and versatile scoring. These two could go off for 30+ on any given night, and they will take pressure off each other; you can't double both of them. Will they run it back in 2027? Meebs is the top point guard and playmaker in South Dakota and Heier is a sharp-shooting, all-around solid player. The Trojans lost Kuhl to graduation, but they have plenty of other weapons and with the veteran leadership of Connor and Hayden, West Central is still the favorite in Class A. Let's not forget that the Trojans play nasty and stingy defense.
