Expert Analysis
Alan Olsen | Prep Hoops Scout
Shooter scored 22 points vs Sully Buttes hitting three 3’s and all from college range. At 6’5 he easily gets his shot off and over most defenders who try to guard him. With a very quick release and good footwork he needs very little room to get hist shot off. Shows a nice pull up game when defenders crowd him on the perimeter and definitely can put the ball on the ground when he wants with good ball skills and crossover.

Shooter lived up to his name once again as he had 21 points with 5 threes. His size is a matchup nightmare for most teams as hes too big and long for majority of guards if he posts up and too quick for all but the elite 4 and 5 men to guard him on the perimeter. He gets his shot off anytime he wants and has unlimited range.

PHD is definitely intrigued by his length. Shooter is the real deal. This past Saturday against Todd County, he poured in 36 points and showed just how dangerous he can be when he gets rolling. There are not many teams that can truly match up with him. He is long, talented, and skilled, with a natural ability to put the ball in the basket. Frederick creates problems all over the floor and has a scorer’s instinct that is hard to teach. And let’s not forget, Shooter lives up to his name; he is a knockdown shooter who can light it up in a hurry. Tonight, MOPO took down #9 Sully Buttes. Frederick went for 19 points, shot great, threw down a dunk, and locked up on defense.

WHY?
A true marksman for the Tigers, Shooter showed flashes of brilliance last year that have only grown stronger. With added length, he’s a tough matchup and showed off his defensive chops this summer. As the team’s quarterback in football, he’s developing into a natural leader. Keep your eyes on Shooter—he’s exactly what his name says he is… a shooter!

I discovered at the Northern State team camp that Mobridge-Pollock was getting a really nice addition to its team with a transfer from Bennett County in guard

. Frederick was a starter and key piece as a Freshman on a young Bennett County team that went 3-18. I think he’ll really help Mobridge-Pollock this upcoming season with his solid length, movement, and lethal three-point shooting from the 2-guard spot. He’s a smooth-moving athlete on the court, moving well in all directions. Solid skills, lengthy arms, and a major floor stretcher from range. He most certainly makes Mobridge-Pollock a better and more complete team.

Shooter can shoot. Frederick is a transfer from Bennett County to Mobridge-Pollock. A lengthy and athletic guard kid with a pure stroke. Mobridge-Pollock has to love getting him.
