Brooks Jett Brooks Jett 6'5" | SF Aberdeen Christian | 2027 put together an outstanding season, nearly averaging a double-double with 13.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, along with 1.3 assists and 1.9 blocks. His production stands out, but it’s how he gets it done that makes him so effective—he’s efficient, consistent, tough, and plays with a physical, aggressive edge. Jett is a quality athlete who can finish above the rim with power, and he combines that with good feet and strong fundamentals. He impacts the game in multiple ways, whether it’s rebounding, protecting the rim, or doing the little things that help teams win. An All-State performer who helped lead his team to the State Tournament, he’s proven he can contribute to winning basketball. He plays hard every possession and embraces the hustle side of the game. Heading into the club season, there’s a lot to like about his trajectory, and he’s a player college scouts will want to take a serious look at as a clear next-level prospect.

How do you stay locked in during the grind of the season—especially on tough weeks?

“Remember that the team is a brotherhood and we are all in this together.“

What’s something your coaches emphasize that really shows up on game nights?

“Always building our teammates up and believing in everyone, it helps our energy stay high.“

What’s the biggest lesson basketball has taught you?

“You’re not always going to be your best and you need to find a way to still be successful and contribute.“

What has been your favorite moment of the season so far?

“Being on the bus after games and seeing everyone so happy after a win.“

Favorite gym to play in (besides home)?

“Probably Wachs Arena because it’s the biggest stage and the most hype atmosphere.“

What are you hoping to accomplish before postseason play begins?

“I hope as a team we continue to play as a team and get better every day, hopefully winning out, but we will have to see where time takes us.“

“A do-it-all all athlete that can play every position on the floor. He rebounds, defends, brings the ball up, connects with teammates, shoots the 3-ball, and attacks the lane. He had a really good summer and we are excited for what he will do this season.”

Brooks combines size, athleticism, and relentless effort to make a major impact on both ends of the floor. A Double-Double machine, he scores efficiently, protects the rim, and creates a high volume of turnovers. Jett’s energy, skill, and all-around game have earned him high praise, making him a player to watch.

I have yet to see Brooks this offseason, but he did enough late in the high school season to warrant a solid bump up the rankings. His frame is leaning out and his bounce is gaining traction as well. He still has upside going forward.

Jett had a massive State B tournament and did a lot for his stock. His athletic ability and bounce was on full display in Aberdeen. He had an insane dunk with him flying down the middle of the lane and throwing it down hard on the move. It kind of surprised me. His build looks more lean and athletic than a year ago. He had three double-doubles with some big rebounding numbers.

Brooks will take on a much larger role as a Sophomore than a year ago. He got heavy minutes as a Freshman, but in 2024-2025, he will be counted on by Aberdeen Christian to be a main factor and playmaking leader for them. A main reason is that Becker Bosma Becker Bosma 6'5" | SF Groton Area | 2026 State SD has transferred to Groton Area. Jett has solid size from a wing/forward spot, and will look to be assertive going at the hoop off the drive. I think he hits the boards hard as well, using his strong and developed frame. I think he can be a NAIA prospect at the next level.

Brooks is having a stock-rising offseason, and with the departure of Bosma to Groton Area, Brooks will need to be a key player for Aberdeen Christian.
