This kid is a freakish athlete with a very high ceiling. PHD was super impressed with Loyall’s game this spring. Smooth, mobile, and dynamic with the basketball. Smith is a high-riser, a shot blocker, and an electric finisher.

-Southpaw, this kid can run & jump! Loyall is a rare athlete for SD, momentous dunker, dynamite slasher, hits 3’s, scores from multiple levels, dynamic playmaker

-Picked off a pass, breakaway electric 2-handed slam

-Productive rebounder, I like how he high-pointed the ball

-Used his bounce for O-boards

-Elevated over the D for boards & scores

-Slashed for points, covers a ton of ground quickly

-Cashed in from 3-point land

-Got the shooters touch roll from the FT-line

-O-board putback, has a super quick 2nd jump

-Hit key FT’s late to finish off the win

-Dynamic playmaker, player to watch going forward

-Made multiple cuts that caught my eye, I like guys that move well off the ball

-Strong take to the rack, fouled & got to the line

-Drive, across-the-block dime to Collins for a bucket

-Showed great timing when picking off a pass on D

-Combo moves to beat the D, split 2 D on the way to the cup, righty finish

-Intercepted pass in full-court D

A tough matchup at a 6’0 guard that can handle it. He’s a pure athlete and already playing well above the rim. Loyall is a leader on the floor and plays with a great attitude. I really like his ability to get to the rim and absorb contact, yet still finish.
