Owen was a microwave scorer for Minnesota Rise last night, heating up throughout stretches of the game. He could not be left open from three, as he has a quick release of his shot and was hitting from the perimeter at a high clip. With his shooting threat, Drill could blow by defenders closing out too hard, working inside for touch finishes as well.

Owen played harder than just about anyone I’ve seen this month in a matchup with Unity Stars Omaha. The 2029 wing out of New Ulm was fighting for every loose ball he could get to, and was battling on the glass against bigger forwards. Even playing without any subs, Owen never took his foot off the glass defensively. On the offensive end he stretched the floor with a handful of threes, and was fearless attacking the basket. Did a nice job of drawing some contact in the paint.
