A physical played who guarded different positions with success, Hamer’s toughness was apparent on virtually every possession. Despite being undersized, he battled for rebounds, defended bigger opponents and used his strength to muscle his way to the basket. He can defend on the perimeter with his strength and mobility or keep bigs out of the lane with his positioning. He has quick hands that led to a few deflections and also finished well on the break. Hamer played on the talented Arrowhead varsity squad as a junior and hopes to break into the Warhawks’ playing rotation as a senior.
