Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Another bright spot for Perkiomen despite the uneven score, Sysko was at his best during the opening half while the game was still relatively competitive. He keeps the game simple as a dynamic floor-spacer in the frontcourt, with a smooth release and impressive versatility as a perimeter shooter. The Delaware native and post-grad from George School (PA) knocked down a trio of 3s for his 9 points, while also standing out as a quick and smart decisionmaker when his shot wasn’t there. While he has his limitations, Sysko showed the clear value he offers as a plug-and-play stretch forward at the small-college level.

Sysko is an elite three-point shooter with a quick release, logo distance range and an aggressive mindset. His transition 3-point shooting is especially impressive. On the fast break, Sysko’s court awareness enables him to run to open spots. Once he has found his spot, Sysko gets his feet set quickly and can put up a shot in the blink of an eye. During his senior season at the George School, Sysko posted numerous games where he drained 3+ triples. Sysko can also use his size to score over defenders on dives to the rim or backdoor cuts. Sysko’s high IQ and unselfish nature make him a natural distributor. After summer 2025, Sysko will head to Perkiomen School for a post graduate year.

After an outstanding career at the George School, Sysko is headed to Perkiomen School for a post graduate year. This weekend he will be playing with NJ Shoreshots and providing that squad with elite three-point shooting. Sysko’s jumper owns a quick release and NBA distance range. He is a tremendous transition sniper because Sysko runs to open spots well and gets his feet set quickly for his shots. His 3-point shooting out of pick-n-pop action is impressive too. When he is not lacing triples, Sysko can use his size and instincts to produce points on dives to the cup and via the offensive glass. Sysko is also a high IQ passer who delivers creative dimes. On defense he is an underrated shot blocker.

Debuting with his NJ Shoreshots squad that will compete on the HGSL circuit, Sysko continues to impress with his cleanly translatable skillset as a floor-spacing forward. Just as he did while helping George School to a highly successful season in his lone year at the school as a senior transfer, Sysko was effective stretching out to the arc and knocking down shots off the catch both in the half court and transition. While not a traditional big by any means, he does a nice job of using his size to sneak into position for rebounds or slip to easy buckets near the rim. A rising post-grad who will take his talents to prep power Perkiomen, Sysko looks like a hidden gem for the small-college level who could certainly push his way into scholarship territory with the extra year.

Playing what would wind up being the last game of his high school career, Sysko showed a valuable plug-and-play skillset in the frontcourt. A senior transfer, he’s worked his way up the George rotation throughout the year with his simple combination of size and shooting. His rapid release from deep is a constant threat to drag out opposing forwards and create space for his teammates. Sysko also showed an ability to convert easy looks inside off cuts or dumpoffs. While he doesn’t show much by way of ball skills, a small-college program is sure to find use for the Delaware native’s skillset.

#291…This former Sanford High School (DE) standout gelled quickly with his new teammates. Beginning with fall ball events, Sysko proved he is a is a 3-point sniper with logo range and a quick trigger. He can hit threes of every variety, but he is especially effective as a transition shooter and coming out of DHO action. Sysko is currently averaging 9 points per game and recently posted 12 points on the strength of 4 made triples against Kiski School. Sysko’s height and enormous wingspan make him a plus rebounder on the defensive end.

At 6-foot-6, Sysko was one of the best shooting prospects at Saturday’s Tufts’ elite camp. He’s got an incredibly quick release and is very accurate from deep. That skill alone should get him onto a D3 roster, especially because he knows how to move without the ball and pass as well. He’s still working on his skills with the ball, but those could come along with time. Keep up with Sysko as the year goes on.
