Kamin had another huge game on Saturday – what’s new? The uncommitted senior showed that he can still play bully ball against one of the best prep teams in the country; he used his body and his off hand so well, and he was SO physical on drives to the hoop. He also throws up some shots around the lane that seem like they have no chance of converting, but his touch is supreme and he gets them to go. He got hurt towards the end of the game, but he’ll be good to go tomorrow for a massive matchup against CATS Academy – it’ll be his best opportunity yet to show he deserves more D1 offers.

Kamin was without a doubt the best player on the floor for Worcester Academy, as he has been for much of the season. The uncommitted senior showed his full repertoire of scoring; he bullied smaller guys underneath the basket for easy finishes, he picked his spots in the mid-range for jumpers, and he rained it in from three. He’s such a well-rounded player and just doesn’t have any weaknesses on that end, besides the fact that he isn’t a big time athlete (who cares, though? He gets the job done). Kamin also showed some solid passing chops once the defense started to overplay him on threes. He really has it all.

Every time I watch Kamin play, it becomes more ridiculous that he isn’t swimming in D1 offers. He’s a 6-foot-7 point forward who can do everything offensively. It might not look pretty sometimes – which is probably why his recruitment could be lagging behind – but he gets the job done in spades. He’s great with his back to the basket and has an excellent left hand, which allows him to craft his way to finishes in the paint. He can also knock down the three ball and the mid-range, though. Today, I was impressed with his defense on Tabor’s best player,

Kamin led the charge for Worcester in the scoring department against Cushing. While his guard teammates struggled to get into the paint and finish, Kamin showcased his three-level scoring ability. He’s crafty and strong getting to the rim, and although his shot is a bit unconventional, it goes in. He’s been somewhat inconsistent shooting the ball from three when I’ve seen him, but something about his misses tells me I’ve caught the wrong games and that he will be a great perimeter threat at the next level. D1 coaches should be all over him with offers, and I’m quite frankly flabbergasted that they aren’t.

This was my first time seeing Kamin play in person and I continue to be dumbfounded that he doesn’t have a slew of D1 offers. He has great size and strength and simply understands how to put the ball in the cylinder (even if sometimes it doesn’t look pretty). He can shoot it from the mid-range and three but also takes defenders off the dribble and bodies them in the paint. He fights his behind off for rebounds on both ends, too. The D1 offers should be coming soon – what more do college coaches need to see? It’s unfathomable.

Kamin is an imposing, 6-foot-7 do-it-all wing from Illinois who really impressed me with his combination of size, strength and skill. He’s able to bully his way to the rim against smaller defenders, but he can also step out and shoot the three ball with effectiveness. Oh, and he can get to his spots in the mid-range as well. As a creator, he has some really solid ball handling moves, especially for his size, and he is an able and willing passer when he sees the opportunity. Kamin is currently unsigned – and I can’t find much about his college recruitment – but he’s definitely a D1 player, and I say that with a lot of confidence.

is a bigger-than-your-average guard with a diverse offensive repertoire. On his drives to the paint, he uses patience and takes advantage of defensive mistakes to score the ball through contact. Kamin loves to attack closeouts and finish creatively at the rim. He’s a threat beyond the arch and can knock down shots off the ball or in stop-and-pop scenarios. Kamin is a ball mover in transition, finding open teammates in a cool and collected manner. On the defensive end of the court, he has superb anticipation skills, consistently creating turnovers in the passing lanes and making quick last-second deflections. Overall, Kamin’s offensive skills at his height make him a must-watch for coaches and programs needing someone who can thrive on or off the ball.

Kamin, a native of Illinois, has made an immediate impact on the wing for Worcester Academy this winter. A big wing who has definite upside as a floor spacer, Kamin does a good job leveraging his shooting and attacking bad closeouts. Defensively, he’s a solid rebounder from the guard position and does a great job of utilizing his IQ to be in the right spots as a help defender where he generates a fair amount of steals and deflections with his length.
