Lyons, a forward out of Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, is ranked #13 among the centers and checks in at #98 overall in this update. The 6’6″ center has some intriguing long-term potential and the ability to impact games now with his versatility. Offensively, he does a nice job operating as a screener and roller, can score in a variety of ways with his back to the basket, and has a bit of a face-up game from the mid-range. Defensively, he’s capable of moving his feet to stay in front of ball-handler and does a nice job of competing on the glass. He plays his travel ball with Team Sims.

Lyons, a two-way big out of Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, was a high level performer this winter while playing in the MIAA. At 6’6″, he impacts games with his motor, showing a willingness to make plays in traffic on both ends of the floor. He’s an above the rim athlete that can make plays off the bounce, especially when he’s attacking the rim. He can finish in a variety of ways and should only continue to improve as he fills out his frame. He’s got some defensive versatility and should be capable of guarding in the paint and on the perimeter going forward.
