Kiishawn had a very solid weekend for Carolina Premier . Kiishawn knocked down multiple tough shots and did a great job protecting the ball as his team’s primary ball handler. Where I think Kiishawn shines most is as a facilitator; he does such a great job of setting up his teammates, providing them with easy looks. He plays with such a high basketball IQ that when he’s on the court, he elevates the team around him. With the AAU season coming to an end, he is primed for a big junior season.

Kiishawn is Premier 16U’s starting Point Guard. He did a really good job of balancing scoring and facilitating in the Friday game, racking up 10 points and 4 assists. Farrow makes up for his lack of height with a strong frame and high-level decision-making. He is adept at using that frame to create space on the offensive end, and it allows him to hold up against different positions on the defensive end. Kiishawn also left his impact on the perimeter, knocking down two catch-and-shoot threes and setting up his shooters for open looks often.

First up on my Underclassmen Report for the Magic City Holiday Invitational is Kiishawn Farrow Kiishawn Farrow 5'9" | PG Greenville | 2028 State SC . Farrow transferred into Greenville near the end of the summer and is coming off a successful season on the football field. He was terrific in the Red Raiders’ big win over St. Christopher, going for 16 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Kiishawn usually does a good job of doing other things apart from scoring, but this was as good as I’ve seen him shoot it from three. He hit four threes in the win, doing so off set plays and with both movement and spot-up.

Kiishawn is part of a pair of Hillcrest Guards that stood out to me on Friday. Farrow does a great job of navigating bodies with the ball in his hands and has a knack for drawing falls when other shots aren’t falling. Kiishawn has a stronger lower frame which allows him to be physical on both ends of the floor. Farrow can handle through contact, finish around rim protectors, and guard bigger guards. He also has a nice crossover and is a nice pull-up mid-range game.

Kiishawn Farrow Kiishawn Farrow 5'9" | PG Greenville | 2028 State SC is a two-sport athlete who has has begun his basketball career as one of the key pieces on a young Hillcrest Rams team. Farrow is very quick and will change pace with the ball in his hands to keep defenders off balance. He is also fearless in attacking the rim despite his size and youth. Kiishawn has been used in both backcourt positions so far this season because of his ability to make plays off the dribble and knock down perimeter shots.
