I got to see this 6’2″ Combo Guard a couple of times this spring with Carolina Premier Upstate, and he was impressive. He is a weapon off the ball with his catch-and-shoot prowess and ability to slash to the rim, and he has some defensive potential, too.

Speaking of players to watch, JaCaden is one I’ve been wanting to evaluate for a long time. I was familiar with his game from the high school season, but it felt like he got much more comfortable down the stretch and into the playoffs. Now running with Carolina Premier Upstate Red, Evans is another one of the top shooters in South Carolina’s 2028 class. He went for 16 points on 4 3PM in an early-morning matchup with Mr. Alexander’s Team, proving to be a weapon on inbounds sets and half-court actions.
