Floor spacing and perimeter shooting were on full display throughout the Phenom Hoops Rock Hill Live, as several players consistently knocked down shots and provided offensive sparks for their teams. Whether it was catch-and-shoot ability, deep range, or confidence in big moments, these prospects made defenses pay throughout the weekend in Rock Hill. Here is a closer look at some of the top shooters that stood out during the event.

First up on my list of South Carolina shooters to know from the Phenom Hoops Rock Hill Live is [player_tooltip player_id='2679127' first='Ryder' last='Henderson']. Henderson is running with PSB Elite Walker this summer, and he's had several impressive games throughout the season so far. Ryder has grown a few inches since I've last seen him, now listed at 6'2", and it certainly gives him a boost when shooting contested shots. Along with his shooting off the catch, Henderson was given some ball-handling responsibilities in the game I watched this weekend, showing he can be more than purely a spot-up threat.

Down to the 16U division, Auri had one of the top scoring performances I saw from a 2028 on Saturday. He went for 17 points in a matchup with HYAA Elite, hitting jump shots not only on the perimeter, but in the mid-range as well. Taylor knocked down three threes in the game, all on the wings directly off a catch. His two mid-range makes varied, with one being a deep two off a BLOB set and the other being off the catch against a zone. Auri did convert on a floater after driving a closeout, and he proved to be a solid passer with 4 assists to go with his stellar shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='3643475' first='Jaxon' last='Dansak'] wasn't a name I was familiar with coming into the day, but it's definitely one I want to learn and monitor more going into the scholastic period. Dansak is a product of Clover High School and runs with NGNG SC, but for both teams, he is a guy who can provide spacing for guards and bigs to work. Jaxon is primarily a catch-and-shoot threat who takes up positions in the corner and on the wings, but he did showcase an ability to handle on 2-3 dribbles as a slasher. Factor in some intriguing length at 6'4", Dansak is definitely one to watch the rest of the summer.

Speaking of players to watch, JaCaden is one I've been wanting to evaluate for a long time. I was familiar with his game from the high school season, but it felt like he got much more comfortable down the stretch and into the playoffs. Now running with Carolina Premier Upstate Red, Evans is another one of the top shooters in South Carolina's 2028 class. He went for 16 points on 4 3PM in an early-morning matchup with Mr. Alexander's Team, proving to be a weapon on inbounds sets and half-court actions.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia'] is arguably the best independent 15U team in the Palmetto State right now, and Jordan is a huge reason why. He caught fire early in the second half of a win over PalmettoPride, knocking down three quick threes to grab a lead. Hall, a lefty, has a pure outside stroke and loves the right side of the floor, where he can catch-and-shoot or attack the middle of the floor. Jordan was also productive defensively, chipping in with 3 steals to go with 18 points.

Rounding out my list of shooters to know from the Phenom Hoops Rock Hill Live is [player_tooltip player_id='3643493' first='Jacob' last='Dansby']. He is an intriguing young prospect with positional size and length at the 2, plus he is already a strong perimeter shooter. Jacob stays active without the ball in his hands and relocates well along the arc, but he's also not afraid to attack the rim when the defense closes out too hard. Dansby finished with an efficient 4-7 3FG number in a game three win.
