Down to the 16U division, Auri had one of the top scoring performances I saw from a 2028 on Saturday. He went for 17 points in a matchup with HYAA Elite, hitting jump shots not only on the perimeter, but in the mid-range as well. Taylor knocked down three threes in the game, all on the wings directly off a catch. His two mid-range makes varied, with one being a deep two off a BLOB set and the other being off the catch against a zone. Auri did convert on a floater after driving a closeout, and he proved to be a solid passer with 4 assists to go with his stellar shooting.
