Another junior wing who I’m a big fan of is Konzelman. JJ was able to showcase a lot of his size and skill for Blue Jazz (Southside Christian) this week. He, too, should have an increased usage rate this season, because despite being the biggest guy on the floor, he will also be the best playmaker. JJ also stood out with a smooth jumper on the perimeter and in the mid-range, which wasn’t always the case when I saw him over the summer, when he was asked to battle in the paint more. If this offensive display was any indication of what Konzelman has in store for 2026-27, he could be a breakout prospect and push for a 2A All-State spot.

Another wing shooter to know in the Class of 2028 is JJ Konzelman JJ Konzelman 6'4" | SF/SG Southside Christian | 2028 State SC . Konzelman moved to South Carolina from Texas around this time last year, and he’s slowly making a name for himself in the Greenville area. He was a key piece for Carolina Premier Upstate, impressing with his perimeter shooting and interior defense this spring.

JJ and Carolina Premier ‘s Upstate team had a really strong weekend in Rock Hill. His size and shot-making are something that caught my eye, and it will be something that college coaches should note for this time next year. JJ went for 22 points and 5 rebounds in Saturday’s game one, but he was pretty consistent throughout the event, and averaged 17 PPG.
