About Joshua
Expert Analysis
Andrew Baxley | Prep Hoops Scout
Butler is a solid post prospect who will have some big games against smaller teams this season. He has a nice package of moves to go to with his back to the basket and a solid feel as a passer. They will look to use him as a screener and in dribble-handoff actions, using his mobility and feel to keep the defense off-balance frequently.

Butler is the biggest stock riser in this edition of the Prep Hoops SC Class of 2028 Rankings. Joshua is the younger brother of former Cavaliers John and Jordan, both of whom played D1 Basketball and had excellent careers in Greenville. Joshua has the size to be a major factor, so his potential is up there with the best of them in the Sophomore Class.
