About Tucker
Expert Analysis
Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
Scholl is a smart, scoring combo guard who averaged nearly 18 points per game for the Atlanta Timberwolves in Ohio. A reliable shooter with range, he consistently stretches defenses and can score both off the catch and off the dribble. Scholl is very comfortable with the basketball in his hands, showing the ability to create offense for himself while also making plays for teammates. He possesses better than average foot speed, a high basketball IQ, and competes on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he is active, disruptive, and consistently finds ways to make winning plays.

Scholl was another easy choice for the 5A All-State Team. He had a terrific junior year, particularly over the last couple of months where was arguably Greenville’s most productive player. The shooting is always going to be there with Tucker, but he’s consistently improved defensively and as a playmaker, both of which only raise the floor of how good he is now and raise the ceiling of what he can be over the next five years.

. Scholl put up a game-high 25 points, his second time doing so in a win against the Yellow Jackets this season. Although the scoring was impressive, it was his ability to do everything with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals that was most important to his team. Tucker and the Red Raiders clearly had the energy advantage early, as he forced three turnovers in the first two minutes and had several offensive rebounds. When Scholl is active without the ball in his hands, he is one of the best players in the state, and it makes Greenville extremely hard to beat.

is first up on the 2026 Prep Hoops SC Showcase All-Showcase Team. He led the Red Raiders with 18 points on 4 3PM, including a few important ones in the second half of their 63-57 win over Independence (NC). Tucker is a guy who you can run action for and expect him to hit the shot because he is consistently efficient from the perimeter. Scholl also made a few winning plays when not hitting shots, like a pair of back-tap steals, 4 assists, and some work on the offensive glass.

Tucker Scholl caught fire from deep during 5-on-5 play and immediately made people take notice he’s a name that had me talking. A 2027 guard with a smooth shooting stroke and a natural feel for the game, Scholl not only knocks down shots with range but also facilitates well and keeps the offense flowing. He’s definitely a player to keep an eye on in his class. With his ability to space the floor, make smart decisions, and play with confidence, Tucker is primed for a breakout junior season. If he continues to develop at this pace, expect his stock to rise quickly.

Scholl had a pair of strong performances on Saturday for the eventual Gold Bracket Champions Greenville High School. Tucker put up 7 points and 4 assists in Game One and 10 points, 5 assists, and 4 steals in Game Two. Even though his perimeter wasn’t falling at it’s normal rate, Scholl never lacked aggression and still did a good job of finishing in the paint. Tucker also got some opportunity to show his ability as a Point Guard and ran the Red Raider offense for stretches. Scholl’s forced turnovers and smart defense were key in Greenville pulling away from Oceanside Collegiate to win the Gold Bracket on Saturday.
