Beau Brannon Beau Brannon 6'7" | SF Wren | 2027 State SC led the way for Wren in their huge win over Laurens on Tuesday. He had a game-high 25 points, but what was most impressive was his combination of variety and efficiency. Brannon scored at all three levels through contact and some solid defense. He is comfortable playing off the catch on the perimeter, where he can shoot or attack with two to three dribbles, but with his size, he can also work inside with post-ups or as the middle man versus a zone. Beau went 3-5 from deep in this one, but when you combine the shooting with all the other impactful things that he does, it is easy to see why he is such a good player.

Beau is another prospect who I evaluated for the first time during this series last year. He has shown good signs in his development during the High School and Grassroots Seasons and continues to stand as one of the top wings in the 2027 Class. He excels in and checks all the boxes of things you want from a prospect of his size and age. On the offensive end, Beau is a knockdown perimeter shooter and has the skill to create off the dribble. On the defensive end, he is a great rim protector and can be used 3-5. Two areas of improvement for Brannon’s game would be the consistency of his offensive motor and finishing strength, but if he masters those he could become a can’t-miss prospect.

Beau Brannon Beau Brannon 6'7" | SF Wren | 2027 State SC makes up the second part of a dynamic duo with Kreger on Next Level Elite 15U. He had to sit a little longer than usual in the first half against XLXB for a bit of an injury, but Beau was very good otherwise in that game. He was a tough guard for the Saints due to his size, length, and persistence around the rim. Brannon can also stretch the floor out and hit a perimeter shot, which adds a lot of balance to his game.
