Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
The skilled 6’8” junior out of Episcopal returns to the Atlanta Timberwolves this season as one of the more versatile frontcourt prospects in the 2027 class. Rydzewski is comfortable operating at all three levels, with the ability to score in the paint, stretch the floor to the perimeter, and impact the game from the midrange. A high IQ player and capable passer, he makes sound decisions with the basketball and can create opportunities for teammates. Coming off an All-First Coast high school campaign, he’ll look to build on that momentum and continue trending upward this spring.

The Jacksonville native is a highly skilled offensive big who averaged over 15 points per game this season at Episcopal and should provide similar production for Scott Samach’s program. The junior brings true inside outside versatility, with the ability to step out and knock down open jumpers beyond the arc. He has excellent footwork on the block, can score with either hand, and is a capable passer out of the post, making him a well rounded frontcourt offensive threat.

The junior forward has good size and the ability to stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting out to three. He plays with a solid feel for the game, using his strength to be effective around the basket. An average vertical athlete, he still finds ways to finish around the rim and contribute offensively. His combination of size, shooting, and feel makes him frontcourt prospect in 2027.
