Badru came off the board late this spring when he announced his commitment to the University of New Hampshire. One of the top athletes in New England, Badru was a big time stock riser this winter at Newman. A physical wing, he has real defensive stopper potential at the next level due to his combination of athleticism, mobility, and toughness. That combination should also allow him to guard up and down the board at the next level. Offensively, his skill development this winter was impressive as he showcased the ability to make plays with the ball in his hands, knock down shots from the perimeter, and even make decisions in screen and roll situations. He provides UNH with a dynamic wing athlete that should only get better during his time in the America East.

Badru was impactful throughout the open gym in a multitude of ways. One thing that stood out to me was his high motor and willingness to do things like dive on the floor for loose balls. He also got way up for dunks and finishes around the rim. Badru also plays well off the ball, moving well and consistently getting open for paint touches and great looks. He was also very active on defense.

Badru has had his ability to change speed quickly on full display. He is a guard that defenders have a hard time staying in front of because of his high level agility and ball handling ability. He attacks the basket strong every time, not avoiding contact. Badru has shown the ability to get up and dunk the ball often in transition and half court sets. He is a player that can spark a run for his team with a highlight play.
