Preview – 2026 Sneakers for Santa Field Announced, Part Two

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the best annual events not just in Indiana but in the Midwest has announced its field for this year's event. On December 5th Brownsburg High School will host seven games featuring many of the top teams from Indiana as well as teams from Georgia, Ohio, and Tennessee. There will be dozens of Division I prospects, preseason #1 teams, reigning state champions, and much more. Let's give a "way too early" preview of the seven matchups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">4:45 p.m. Tri Cities (GA) vs. Brownsburg</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The host Brownsburg Bulldogs will not have an easy matchup at the Sneaker for Santa Shootout. Tri Cities High School, who won a state title as recently as 2025, comes up from Georgia featuring four-star, Top 75 national prospect Tre Keith. The 6'3" point guard holds offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Xavier, and many others. Brownsburg is never an easy team to beat with Coach Steve Lynch on the sidelines. However, this season they are a team that really could sneak up on some people. Senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2907635' first='Bo' last='Washington'] who transferred from Pike will make a big difference running the show alongside returns in the senior class such as [player_tooltip player_id='2141044' first='Brandon' last='Day'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140379' first='Jackson' last='Gordon'], and [player_tooltip player_id='3693581' first='Chase' last='Wilson']. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='2879841' first='Billo' last='Diallo'] to step into a larger role as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">6:30 p.m. - New Albany vs. Carmel</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Both of these teams will likely be in the Class 4A preseason Top 5. Carmel upset Fishers and won a Sectional championship last season and will return Indiana Junior All-Star point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140341' first='Cash' last='Daniels']. [player_tooltip player_id='2560647' first='Vincent' last='Nover'] is another returning rising senior who had a breakout summer. Meanwhile, transfer additions [player_tooltip player_id='2887162' first='Joshua' last='Henderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140369' first='Griffyn' last='Robisch'] should help round out a very talented Greyhounds lineup. Carmel is always one of the most deliberate offensive teams in the state, but it will be hard to not get sped up a bit by New Albany's defense. The Bulldogs feature junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2382148' first='Noah' last='Washington'] and sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2888227' first='Karson' last='Stoudemire'] along with twin senior guards Ashton McKee and [player_tooltip player_id='2125697' first='Reece' last='McKee']. There are a lot of talented pieces on this team. Expect this game to feature a major contrast in styles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">8:15 p.m. - Lakota West (OH) vs. Pike</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lakota West went 25-2 last season, but recently lost one of their top players to La Lumiere. However, they will still be one of the best teams in Ohio led by Toledo commit [player_tooltip player_id='2194820' first='Bryce' last='Curry']. As for Pike, despite losing a key player of their own to a prep school in Texas, they are still loaded with talent. 6'11" Purdue commit [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] will once again patrol the paint on both ends of the floor while [player_tooltip player_id='2266897' first='Kenneth' last='Lampley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] add additional size and skill on the perimeter. In the backcourt, the Red Devils will rely heavily on transfers [player_tooltip player_id='2955304' first='Ryan' last='Gold Jr']. and [player_tooltip player_id='3219509' first='Bles'sed' last='Thomas'] along with returning guard [player_tooltip player_id='2414872' first='Aiden' last='Woods'].
