Nover posted an impressive double-double in the final game of the weekend finishing with 25 points and 12 rebounds in a blowout victory for Progeny UA Grind 17u. The 6’4″ shot 4-8 from three-point range and showed some real aggressiveness off of the bounce as a scorer. His shooting ability is certainly something for college coaches to take a look at heading into the summer.

The growth of Nover’s game from this time last year until now has been very impressive to watch. He had an excellent summer proving himself as a primary playmaker with good ball handling ability, pace, and court vision. Nover, a 6’4″ guard, is under control as he drives it and is comfortable making any pass necessary. He can also take over and score it a bit himself. Where his recruit lands will ultimately be very interest. Nover is entering his junior year at Carmel High School.

Versatile 6’4” wing that contributes on both ends of the floor. Confident scorer that’s athletic and can get to the rim and finish around length as well as stepping out and showing a confident stroke from three. Recruitment is just getting started and this weekend is a big opportunity.

One of the more rapidly improve guards in the rising junior class, we are starting to see Nover really breakout heading into the summer. It can be tough to evaluate young prospects at Carmel High School because it is so rare to break into the varsity rotation prior to your junior season due to their consistent stable of talent. Nover has came up through the Greyhounds system now, shined on the grassroots circuit over the last couple of months, and has carved out a role with Carmel so far in their June competition. He handles the ball very well for his size showing the ability to, at the very least, serve as a secondary playmaker, while also flashing some shooting ability from beyond the arc. Nover’s length and athleticism on the perimeter are very intriguing as well as you project him out over the next couple of years. He has jumped up off of the watch list into the Top 50 at #46 overall.

This prospect just continues to get better and better. He has become a very projectable prospect with his ball handling and playmaking skills as a 6’4″ guard who is also an excellent athlete. Nover can run the point, but is also an excellent shooter putting pressure on the defense to guard him well beyond the arc. He has proven himself as a willing passer and is one of the best rebounding guards in Indiana’s Class of 2027. Nover led Indiana Elite Central to the 16u Indiana State Tournament championship averaging 15 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Nover put up some excellent individual statistics throughout the weekend at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. However, most importantly, the 6’3″-6’4″ wing from Carmel High School impacted winning. He helped lead his Indiana Elite Central squad to a 5-1 weekend and a Trey Lyles Gold Bracket Championship. Nover averaged 15.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game

Nover is an up-and-coming wing within the system at Carmel High School. He has good positional size and length at 6’3″, is fluid offensively from multiple levels, and can stretch the floor with his catch-and-shoot ability. He has played well across several viewings over the last month or so between seeing him workout at Carmel, catching him in the Metro Indy Fall League, and at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Definitely a name to remember over the next few years.
