Up against [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] I was really impressed with his passing ability out of the high post, able to face up and spot a cutting teammate, while also having the skill to get to the rim with a quick one/two dribble drive. Soft touch around the rim, combined with relentlessness on the glass on both ends of the floor. Capable ball handler who can dribble out of trouble at times or push the ball in space.

Stephon excels operating out of the dunker spot or rolling to the hoop with this Pack 16u team. He has physical tools that you just can't teach, standing at 6'8 with a strong frame, long arms, and the ability to get off the floor quickly to make plays at the rim. Playing alongside some talented guards he always has his hands ready to catch around the rim and immediately power his way up to finish. Strong shoulders allow him to absorb contact and still convert inside. I also like the effort he puts in to run the floor, and he's often rewarded with easy transition dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2879718' first='Omar' last='Ali'] is a physical worker in the paint for [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'], and he was up to the challenge against Comets Elite on Saturday night. He was putting in the extra effort that led to winning plays for his team, battling on the glass for putback buckets, and hustling to get into positions to contest around the rim. He strung together a nice run of play over a few minutes where he had two offensive boards leading to easy finishes inside, followed up by a big rejection on the defensive end. Has some nice physical tools to work with as he continues to gain experience competing with/against some of Minnesota's best.

There's not much you can do when isolated against [player_tooltip player_id='1819128' first='Bryce' last='Gaustad'] on the block. His combination of touch, size, and footwork is just that good at the high school level. Against Iowa Suns on Sunday, any time the help defense was late getting to him, Bryce was looking to attack on the block. He could score with a simple turn over the shoulder, get his defender in the air with an up-and-under move, or use his strength to play some bully ball. And because he can step out to the perimeter and handle it/shoot it, opposing bigs are often at a disadvantage as they simply can't move as well as he can.

The long and athletic frontcourt prospect was a key presence around the rim for [program_tooltip program_id='2076003' first='West' last='Central United'] on Sunday. He's quick getting off the floor for rebounds on both ends, and can take a dump off pass and explode off the ground to finish in traffic. Caught me off guard when he caught around the basket and threw down a dunk with barely any run-up. Has the tools to impact a game on both ends of the floor.

AJ has a very intriguing blend of size and skill at 6'6. He can play a point forward role and get his team into their offense, he can operate with his back to the basket, or he can take opposing bigs off the dribble from the wing. AJ has impressive vision, with the ability to pass out of the block, or penetrate and kick it out to an open shooter. At times I'd like to see him be a bit more selfish as he's talented enough to create good scoring opportunities on his own, but he does a great job of getting all of his teammates involved in the game.

Samuel puts the power in power-forward. He's a physical inside presence for Comets Hondl, and was finishing strong inside all weekend long. I saw him against an Elevate Skills team that has some size/skill inside, but Afagwu was still able to produce at a high level. He uses his strength well to establish deep post position before the ball even comes his way, and then provides a big target for an entry pass. Once he has the ball down low, he simply has to take one power dribble and then explode off the floor to finish. He keeps things simple but effective around the rim. Walking double-double type of player for Comets Hondl this spring.
