The long and athletic frontcourt prospect was a key presence around the rim for West Central United on Sunday. He’s quick getting off the floor for rebounds on both ends, and can take a dump off pass and explode off the ground to finish in traffic. Caught me off guard when he caught around the basket and threw down a dunk with barely any run-up. Has the tools to impact a game on both ends of the floor.

Bogie is a 6’5” prospect who runs with WCU and really impressed with his natural feel for the game, particularly how well he adjusts to defensive pressure. He moves well without the ball and consistently finds the right spots on the floor. What stood out most is his fearlessness; he attacks confidently and can score against bigger defenders, while also competing hard on the glass and not backing down physically. An intriguing prospect and definitely a player to watch in the HOL.

WHY?
He is up to 6’4″ and he should keep growing. Bogie is raw, but he has impressive athleticism. I watched a video of him throwing down an impressive 2-handed dunk earlier this spring. Hunter does a good job of pressuring the rim and he controls the paint on defense. This Cowboy is a hardworking player who uses his athleticism well. He thrives in the short corner and I am looking forward to some dunks this weekend
