There haven’t been many 2028’s producing at the level Romeo has been this spring. On Saturday he helped lead his WCU team to a hard fought win over Minnesota Heat , throwing down an explosive dunk, flying all over the floor defensively, and converting on some acrobatic finishes. I saw him later in the semi-finals, where again Romeo just found ways to get to the rim and finish at a high percentage. He’s simply more athletic than just about every other guard he comes up against, and finds ways to use it to his advantage to put up big numbers.

Romeo Kromah Romeo Kromah 6'2" | SG Moorhead | 2028 State MN absolutely took over in the second half for West Central United , taking them from down by 12 to leading by 5 in a matter of minutes. The 6’2 guard is one of the best athletes in the state’s 2028 class, and he slashed to the rim for a baseline dunk, knocked down a number of threes, and was hanging in the air for acrobatic finishes off the drive. Minnesota Fury had size and they had some quickness, but they didn’t have anyone with the combination needed to slow Romeo down. WCU’s coach was getting on them about their defensive effort in the first half, and they kicked it up a notch in the second led by Romeo’s standout performance.

This Spud is a ridiculous athlete. He moves like a next-level baller. The best part of his game is his slashing and attacking of the hoop. Romeo also spaces the floor and hits jump shots. Kromah can also be a fierce on-ball defender. Get eyes on this kid from WCU.
