Samuel puts the power in power-forward. He’s a physical inside presence for Comets Hondl, and was finishing strong inside all weekend long. I saw him against an Elevate Skills team that has some size/skill inside, but Afagwu was still able to produce at a high level. He uses his strength well to establish deep post position before the ball even comes his way, and then provides a big target for an entry pass. Once he has the ball down low, he simply has to take one power dribble and then explode off the floor to finish. He keeps things simple but effective around the rim. Walking double-double type of player for Comets Hondl this spring.
