Also standing at six-foot-eight-inches and a cross-country runner Ollie possesses a lot of the same physical characteristics Gus does, long, tall, athletic and versatile. Ollie isn’t as polished and strong as an outside shooter as Gus. There is a lot of intrigue after he returned in July and showcased above the hoop finishing and his length.  

Oliver McKenna – The six-foot-eight-inch 2028 forward from Pequot Lakes and Minnesota Comets Elite Gagner Oliver showcased his high jumping track ability and cross country running. Scoring 8 points on all close range shots, McKenna did well to get inside and close to the rim like when he caught a lob above the rim. Oliver also was active on the offensive glass for two putbacks.

Oliver looks to have lots of potential with his athleticism and ability to run the floor in which Oliver threw down an open court dunk. Oliver opened a game in Omaha grabbing an alley-oop and flushing it.

Oliver was a game changer off the bench for Comets Elite 16u. The 6’8 forward checked into the game, and within five minutes had already drained a pair of threes, showing a fluid stroke at his size. Oliver added in one more three in the second half, while using his long frame to impact the game as a rim protector. McKenna moves well at his size allowing him to pop out to the perimeter for jumpers, or slide into position to make plays at the rim. At 6’8 he gets up and down the floor with ease, and has a lot of potential moving forward as a prospect.
