Logan’s 20 Players to Watch this AAU Weekend

<p>There are a handful of events around the Indianapolis area this weekend as well as the Nike EYBL in Atlanta, GA and Adidas 3SSB in Ladera, CA getting started. I will be in attendance for the Elite Showdown - Crossroads Clash at Precision Fieldhouse at Finch Creek and HoopGroup Indiana Jam Fest at Best Choice Fieldhouse. Here are my players to watch from the different events happening this weekend:</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Adidas 3SSB</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Uber athletic forward that improves every time I see him. High energy forward that's active on both ends of the floor with an intriguing skill set that allows him to play inside and out. Has a chance to make a name for himself on the national scene.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">True lead guard that I have touted as the best floor general in the state of Indiana. Elite court vision and passing ability to go with his underrated scoring ability and good positional size makes him a tough cover. Mid Major offer list with High Major interest list will soon grown in the coming weeks for the 2027 star guard.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">The high IQ guard is making his 3SSB debut with Indiana Elite 15u 3SSB. True lead guard that impacts the game on both ends of the floor for one of the best 15u teams in the country. Look for him to have a big weekend out in California.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Arguably the most electric offensive player in the state of Indiana is making his debut with Midwest Basketball Club 17u 3SSB this weekend in California. Cooper is an elite shooter that can play either guard and impact the game without scoring. Elite feel on the offensive end with a high IQ will continue to see his offer kist grow throughout this spring and summer.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Elite Showdown - Crossroads Clash </h2>    <p>The Zionsville product is one of the top shooters in the state. The sharp shooting combo guard has a quick trigger with deep range as well as the ability to play on the ball and create for others. Plays with really good feel on the offensive end while competing on the defensive end. Plays on a talented team with other playmakers allowing him to get open looks and once he gets going, he's tough to stop.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">The lengthy shooting guard was quite impressive in the showing that I saw a couple weeks ago. Has an unorthodox style of play with the ability to score the ball in a variety of different ways. He's a talented playmaker that makes winning plays on both ends of the floor.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Another player that deserves mentioned when talking about the best pure shooters in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='2140420' first='Nash' last='Sigmund'] is a bonafide stud shooting the basketball with skills that also translate with him on the ball. Has shown the ability to shoot it off the catch or off the dribble. Highly active player coming off a great high school season and it's carrying over to the AAU Season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">The Bishop Dwenger product will be a new face I haven't seen that I will have eyes on this weekend. He's a crafty scorer that once he gets going, he is tough to stop. Look forward to seeing him play.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hoop Group Indiana Jam Fest</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2539953' first='Jarrett' last='Harris'] is one of the more physically athletic gifted players in the entire country. His unique skill set for his size sees him trend towards being a small forward, but is a player that can physically dominate the opposition playing above the rim any chance he gets. Has the potential to raise his national stock in a big way this spring and summer.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Unsigned senior out of Southport is a high energy big man with improving skill. Has the size and athletic ability to dominate the paint on both ends of the floor. Big time rebounder and rim protector that changes ends of the floor in a hurry. When he gets two feet in the paint, it's likely a bucket. He uses his size and physicality to his advantage well. Holds a list of NAIA offers that will grow as the spring and summer go on.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">A skilled, bruising forward that has become one of my favorite players to watch. He's a blend of size and skill and has become really good at getting downhill and finishing around the basket. Has also shown a knack for playmaking off the dribble setting up teammates. The improvement I've seen from the early high school season to the AAU season has been tremendous and I look forward to seeing him progress throughout the spring and summer.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Runyan was just named to All Southwest Indiana Team for his outstanding high school season. He's a combo guard that can flat out shoot it off the catch while being a playmaker on the ball that can get in the lane and create plays for himself and for others. He's a high energy, high IQ guard that makes winning plays.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Nike EYBL</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">The crafty Hamilton Southeastern sophomore guard is a high potential guard with likable physical attributes. Long and lanky guard that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Able to get downhill and score in a variety of different ways while being able to get himself open off the dribble and hit contested jumpers. One of the more high potential players on the Indiana in-state class of 2028 that could explode onto the scene this spring and summer.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">The National Four-Star point guard is making his Nike EYBL debut with the Oakland Soldiers this weekend. Explosive downhill driver that gets to the basket essentially at will. Consistency in the jump shot is still a major question mark, but he's unselfish and looks to make the right play. Major national recruit with offers from every high major conference in the country.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Elite Five-Star center that is the best rim protector in the country. Impacts the game without having to score. Complete game changer with the ability to erase essentially every shot at the rim. Continues to improve as a rebounder. He's a mobile big with loads of potential on the offensive end. Has the ability to step out and hit the open 3 as well as being an elite lob threat. One of the most sought after center prospects in the country looking to help lead his [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] squad to back to back Peach Jam titles.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">The versatile small forward is a top 15 player in the Indiana in-state class of 2027 who is coming off a terrific end to his junior season. He's a combination of size and skill with the ability to play all over the floor. He's become a confident three-point shooter with a clean stroke while also being able to play bully ball and drive smaller defenders and punish them in the paint. One of the more intriguing prospects with a lot of upside.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">NXTPRO (PUMA)</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">A player I haven't gotten to see live, but on stream is a kid that impressed me with his versatility and skill for his size and age. Confident three-point shooter with the ability to put it on the floor and create. Not afraid to get in the paint and fight for rebounds. Really nice player with loads of potential to look forward to in the coming years. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Coming off a big time performance helping lead Parke Heritage to a 2A State Championship, Goins is primed for a big spring and summer. Confident combo guard comfortable playing on or off the ball. Showed in the state game that he can take and make big time shots. Really good three-point shooter with a clean stroke and elevates well. Has a smooth floor game with good playmaking skills for himself and others. He's in for a really good spring and summer on the PUMW Circuit.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Just made a list as a player that's off to a fast start in the AAU season, so naturally he should be a player to watch this weekend. The skilled 6'9” forward is looking to solidify himself as not only the best prospect in Southwest Indiana, but to continue to rise up the rankings in the entire state. He's an inside-out offensive weapon that takes and makes tough 3's while controlling the paint on the defensive end.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">A high energy, high potential wing out of Crown Point that has the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor with his length and athleticism. He's wreaks havoc in passing lanes and is electric on the open floor with his ability to play above the rim. Has a smooth stroke on the jump shot making him a tough cover offensively.</p>
