<p>Rockford Auburn pulled off the first major upset of the tournament as they beat last year's runner up Warren by a final of 84-76. It was North Dakota State star [player_tooltip player_id='1845353' first='Amir' last='Danforth'] who lit it up as he scored 30 points in the win while [player_tooltip player_id='2323314' first='Mikwan' last='Marshall'] had 18 points. Warren senior [player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] had 33 points and top ranked junior [player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] finished with just 9 with seven of them coming on free throws.</p>

<p>Richwoods topped Normal 68-67 in a controversial ending which I covered. We have a full story. Short story is controversial foul call at buzzer. Fellow top 5 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2542412' first='Chase' last='Kasten'] with 25 points for Normal Community.</p>

<p>Fremd beat Stevenson 74-65. It was a much larger lead at times, but they held on. Illinois State commit [player_tooltip player_id='2839970' first='Jordan' last='Williams'] had 24 points while sharp shooter [player_tooltip player_id='2540096' first='Rafael' last='Pinto'] dropped 25. Stevenson's two stars [player_tooltip player_id='1552481' first='Rocco' last='Pagliocca'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1964163' first='Donovan' last='Williams'] each had 23 points.</p>
