A high flyer with significant springs around the rim which pops out immediately. Last time I saw Braimah was end of February and his motor continues to increase while providing a multitude of valuable affects for himself and teammates. Frame wise his strength has increased in arms and legs. Collects a multitude of rebounds on both sides while reading it well off the rim. Had nearly double digits in board department during first half alone. Will ball screen and move without taking up space and getting to locations he wants. Came down lane for 2 handed slam off blob action and had another exclamation point over 2 defenders to end game. A little crazy to think about how there is still more upside to go in skill department with what he is already equipped with. Picked up a few mid major offers during May and will continue to gain more of that same traction during June live periods.

From a pure physical/athletic perspective, there weren’t many guys on Zion’s level at the Chi-Town Tip Off. He’s a long and explosive 6’7 wing who can make plays above the rim with ease. Running with a talented Breakaway team, he was at his best rolling to the hoop or stepping in from the dunker spot for finishing opportunities at the rim. If he caught a pass with even a foot of space to step in to, Zion was going to explode off the floor for a two handed dunk. He’s not going to impress with flashy isolation buckets, but makes the simple plays around the rim that allow him to produce with efficiency. Rebounder, shot blocker, high percentage finisher, and versatile defender for Breakaway 17u.

Agile 4 or 5 man that utilizes lengthy wing span effectively in multiple facets of the game. Stays with it boarding wise on both ends. Creates a challenge in the paint defensively on drives. Converted on a couple And 1’s to continue to provide team a spark. Most impressed by his ability to get out and run the floor. Drove it a bit more than I’ve previously seen. Made a cool spin move on the block and a cross over from the wing spot to drive and finish. Will be the main event on another solid Indians squad.
