Smooth and well keened operator for another solid Indians squad. Primary point with poised handle and can score it in bunches. Had not seen Degner play since last summer and his skill to shoot the basketball has increased substantially. Caught a hot hand throughout knocking down at least 5 3’s with one of those being from NBA range. Under zero gap pressure he continued to play with speed and pace keeping defense on their heels. Made a couple superb passes in transition phase and excellent reads in ½ court on skips or after receiving ball screen and drawing extra. Smart IQ both ends and plays cohesively well alongside teammates.

Good overall feel and rhythm for the game. Was able to take on pressure the full length of the court and handle with poise. Out ran the pace of the full court trap defense. Solid in transition and on the primary break phases. Sees the floor well. Multiple dish offs to guys once defenders were drawn in or converted in the lane himself. Utilizes his quick hands on both ends and makes smart solid reads with the ball. Can create space going off the bounce.
