I caught the Breakaway 17s play on Saturday morning and Nedas anchored the defense with his athleticism and verticality in the paint from the guard location. His rim protection stood out as I tallied him for 4 clean blocks while consistently altering shots and challenging drives. Offensively he helped finish and grind out possessions with his hard nosed competitive demeanor. He found a couple cutters off the ball for assists and stayed aggressive throughout attacking the rim. Nedas be a solid get for a college program who will be able to contribute right away at the next level as a true competitor.

Watched Lockport play in their Saturday morning contest. Team will be a tough out with Nedas playing 1 of the 2 main go to guys alongside his brother. Venckus’ pure jumper off the bounce or catch is one of many skills that are more than worthy for colleges to take a look at.
