Wessel is a wing with quality size, skill, and athleticism. His game is trending in the right direction at the perfect time. Wing has always been a plus shooter which is still the case, but it is his ability to push off the defensive glass along with attacking close outs that has been a game changer! Sweeping layups and utilizes shot fakes well.

Wessell impressed our staff with his play over the weekend. Wing with positional size that can really shoot it from distance. Has more athletic pop than given credit and was effective cutting off the ball for scores. Going to be a key part of the Caravan this season.

Wessell’s a 6’5″ guard/forward for Mount Carmel that stands out with his physical frame and athleticism. Got up for a big time dunk in transition when covering his game vs Lincoln Park. Showcased strength attacking the rim later in the game with a couple fouls drawn. Also showing he can stretch out on the perimeter and buried back-to-back triples in the second half. Now 6’5″. Probably a shooting guard at the next level. Playing more a forward role for the Caravan.
