Williams is an explosive, athletic guard who became increasingly effective as the game wore on. He began attacking downhill with pace, using his quick first step to create separation and rise into controlled pull-ups. He showed footwork, holding his pivot and knocking down small fades. His three-point shot found rhythm in the second half. Defensively, his athleticism was consistent— active hands, quick reactions, and the ability to disrupt. After a quiet first half, he responded with urgency and looked determined to assert himself.

The junior wing has a solid frame and length that he can continue to fill out heading into his senior year. He possesses the quickness and ball-handling ability to beat defenders but can develop more consistency finishing at the rim. Williams showed strong decision-making in the semifinal, attacking defensive gaps without forcing tough shots. He displayed skill with a smooth runner off the glass and later created his own shot with a spin fadeaway off the pivot. A talented underclassman with plenty of tools that, with refinement, could make him a well-rounded threat.
