We will also have eyes and ears in gyms all across the state in order bring you the most comprehensive, detailed coverage that you can find. Weather may play a factor on Friday night, especially on some games in the southern part of the state, but these will be the five games we are focusing on this evening.</p>

<p>This will be the game of the night in the Fort Wayne area. Snider features unsigned senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1744397' first='Xavier' last='Wilson'] alongside two very talented juniors in [player_tooltip player_id='2140449' first='Trell' last='Hogue'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140409' first='Ketron' last='Paschall']. Hogue finished with 20 points in the Panthers first game, but Snider fell in overtime to Fort Wayne South Side 71-65. Fort Wayne Wayne opened the season with a convincing win over Leo, but is coming off of a 74-70 loss to New Haven.They are led by senior guard LaShawn Green who is averaging 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id='2470641' first='Tyree' last='Eldridge'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2470787' first='Javontae' last='Eldridge'] are two more to watch for the Generals as well.</p>

<p>Two extremely talented teams that are ranked very highly in their respective classes will do battle on the west side of Indianapolis. Gary 21st Century, led by Missouri State signee [player_tooltip player_id='1561080' first='Terrence' last='Hayes'] Jr., is coming down to face the loaded Pike Red Devils. The Cougars, ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Top 10, are 2-1 with their loss coming by three points in overtime against Whitney Young (IL). Senior guards [player_tooltip player_id='1561004' first='Ronald' last='Mosley'], [player_tooltip player_id='1738841' first='Jerry' last='Triplett III'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1561084' first='Jacolby' last='Donaldson'] combine with Hayes Jr. to create a dynamic backcourt. Pike, ranked #3 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10, is 3-1 with their loss coming by three points in overtime to Wisconsin Lutheran (WI). Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'], sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'], and 6'10" junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] are the primary players to watch for the Red Devils.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mt. Vernon (Fortville) @ Pendleton Heights</h2>

<p>The Arabians of Pendleton Heights have been one of the surprise teams across the state to begin this season. They are off to a 4-0 start which includes impressive wins over Anderson and Westfield. Saint Francis signee [player_tooltip player_id='1560972' first='Cooper' last='Sims'] is averagin 20.8 points per game to lead the way. As for Mt. Vernon (Fortville), they are obviously led by Mr. Basketball front-runner [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel']. The Purdue signee leads the 3-1 Marauders averaging 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. 6'8" junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2140419' first='Max' last='Vise'] is one to watch as well.</p>

<p>A classic rival on the north side will take place on Friday night featuring two Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10 teams. Carmel is 2-0 and ranked #7 following wins over Zionsville and Lawrence Central. The Greyhounds are led by 6'8" senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell'], a Bellarmine signee, and junior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140341' first='Cash' last='Daniels']. Noblesville sits at just 1-3, but their three losses are all to Top 10 teams. Valparaiso signee [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II'] and Butler signee [player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker'] are the guards to watch for the Millers. Carmel moving to 3-0 with another Top 10 win would be very impressive. On the other hand, it is hard to imagine Noblesville falling to 1-4 to begin the year.</p>

<p>It has been an impressive start to the season for South Ripley based on what they lost to graduation last year. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140354' first='Drew' last='Volz'] along sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='2477290' first='Blake' last='Gunter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2539946' first='Eli' last='Gilpin'] have stepped into big roles for the Raiders and have been excellent so far. Their 3-0 start will be put to the test against Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Top 5 Hauser. The Jets are 3-1 with their lone loss coming by five points to Class 4A Columbus North. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2814297' first='Gavin' last='Keller'] leads Hauser averaging 18.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. [player_tooltip player_id='2272841' first='Stryker' last='Gill'] is one to watch in the backcourt as well. He averages 13.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. If you are looking for a game in southern Indiana this will be a great one to attend.</p>
