From the start of the regular season on November 25th through the IHSAA Semi-State Championship on March 21st, I have covered 111 games on the Prep Hoops Network. Indiana teams, to Kentucky teams, and throw in one Ohio team, it's time to wrap up the season. Across 111 games I've gotten to see a lot of talent. This series this week will be my All-Freshman to All-Senior teams. Here is my All-Freshman team for the 2025-2026 season:

Starting off the freshman team that's not even a freshman. [player_tooltip player_id='2726857' first='Pierre' last='Rondo'], the son of Rajon Rondo, is an 8th Grade sensation at North Oldham High School(KY) that to put simply, he's the best point guard I've seen all season, and he's only 13 years old doing it against top varsity competition in Kentucky. In the game I got to see him live, he scored 19 of his game high 25 points in the first half, went 4-5 from 3, and dished out 7 assists. He's mature beyond his years. He's a high IQ guard that commands the offense and keeps everyone in order. Elite court vision with the ability to just go get a bucket on his own. He's the real deal and will be a high sought after recruit in the coming years

Shooting Guard

I had the chance to see [player_tooltip player_id='2888227' first='Karson' last='Stoudemire'] four times throughout his freshman season and each time he continued to get better and better. He's a physical guard that's versatile on both ends of the floor. Offensively he's comfortable playing all over the floor. He's best getting downhill and finishing at rim, but he's a capable three-point shooter as well as active on the offensive glass. He's a high energy versatile defender that guards multiple positions. He has the strength to battle bigger players while having the quickness to stay in front of smaller guards. Impressive freshman season for Stoudemire and the best is yet to come.

The smooth 6'6” wing from Evansville Reitz has just about as much potential as any player has had in a long time in the Southwest Indiana area. Got to see him multiple times this season live and on stream. So much untapped potential that showed flashes all season long. High IQ with skill that allows him to play on or off the ball. Not the quickest or most athletic player, but does a good job using his body to his advantage. Smooth release on his perimeter jumper, but doesn't settle. Really good at getting in the lane and finishes well around the basket with either hand. He's a big time rebounder on both ends of the floor. Has the ability to rip and run off the defensive boards and has intriguing court vision. Three more years of high school with a big spring/summer coming up on the AAU Circuit to prepare him for next year as he will be asked to be the man for the Panthers.

The 6'5” Freshman out of Evansville Harrison was just recently named to the All-SIAC First Team. Coming into the year, I didn't know much about his game. I was able to get out to see him several times throughout the season and he instantly became one of my favorite players to cover. He's a long and fluid athletic forward that dominates the low block, while continuing to show potential in his perimeter game. He's a high motor player on both ends of the floor that rebounds at a high level. He sets good screens and rolls hard and on occasion showed his ability to pop and knock down the catch and shoot 3. Defensively, he's versatile and uses his length well when contesting shots around the basket while staying out of foul trouble. Should have a big spring/summer on the AAU circuit heading into his sophomore season.

I started the list off by saying Rondo was the best guard I have seen all season. I'm finishing the list by saying that Louisville Ballard 7'0” Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2851845' first='Mason' last='Grivna'] is the best player I saw this season. The combination of size and skill allows him to dominate every game. He's a high level prospect with soft touch around the basket and good footwork. He plays with good balance and doesn't get pushed off his spot. He has the ability to face up in the mid post and make short drives to the basket or hit the midrange jumper. Sets good screens and is an elite roll man/lob threat. Also showed the ability pop and shoot the 3 at a high clip. He's an elite rim protector with good timing. Does a good job staying vertical using his height to his advantage.
