The best big man on the floor in the Class 2A State Finals will without question be [player_tooltip player_id='2272232' first='Isaac' last='Pickel'] of Parke Heritage. Pickel has been the steady frontcourt force for the Wolves since day one and enters this game averaging a near double-double with 10.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. A Taylor University signee, Pickel excels with his mobility and ability to finish above the rim, making him a tough matchup in the post—especially at the 2A level.

Parke Heritage will always be highlighted by the “big three” of Schelsky, Pickel, and Crum, but a player who can sometimes get overlooked is sophomore shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2560381' first='Joel' last='Miller']. The 6'2" guard has had some big-time moments for the Wolves this season and comes in as their fourth-leading scorer at 8.9 points per game while shooting an impressive 36 percent from beyond the arc. He is more than capable of stepping up and hitting some big shots in their matchup vs. Westview.

Westview is a true 1-2 punch team, featuring one of the best duos that will be on the Gainbridge Fieldhouse floor on Saturday. Their senior leader, [player_tooltip player_id='2391343' first='Kaden' last='Grau'], provides a strong second option with 18.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. The 6'3" shooting guard, a Hope College signee, brings a combination of athleticism, strength, and versatility, allowing him to score in a variety of ways across the floor.

The top player for the Westview Warriors on their run to the state finals has been breakout junior shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2622228' first='Austin' last='Schlabach']. The 6'1" guard leads the team in both scoring (19.7 points per game) and adds 3.1 assists per game. He does a great job of staying in attack mode, consistently looking for his shot while also making the right reads. Schlabach shoots it well from the perimeter and is a constant threat getting into the lane, whether in isolation or operating out of ball screen action.
