Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam: Kyler’s Player Notebook Part 5

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top AAU events of the spring took place over this past weekend with the 2026 Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground all weekend long and we were able to check out some of the top prospects and teams from the state when it comes to the grassroots programs. Kostelac is a 6'10 post prospect that runs with Team Indiana 2027 and brings a very intriguing skillset for his size. He is still raw, but his length is a major advantage and seems to know how to get to the right spots around the basket. The junior out of Plainfield HS played very well in the couple of games that I watched him showcasing himself to be arguably the most dynamic guard we have in the Indiana class of 2027. He did a really good job being that secondary scoring option for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] throughout the weekend which is big reason why they would go onto win the championship. He moves so well at his skill position and was very active on the glass even giving his team multiple second chance points. Thought he ran the floor very well and became a mismatch problem vs the defense. Running with Team Tradition, he continues to impress me with his skills around the rim even though he is a smaller forward in the low post. He is a smooth type of hybrid-forward that can be an x-factor of a player at times. Gore is a smaller guard is not afraid to go at the bigger defenders and is skilled enough to be a playmaker, as well. He is also capable of lighting it up from deep if he is given the opportunity to get hot.
