. After a very strong start to the spring AAU season, the Fort Wayne Snider guard is ready to put together a strong live period weekend with UNRNKD 17U on the ECYL Circuit. Hogue is a super dynamic guard at 6’2 with true microwave scoring ability and floor vision to be strong playmaker all-around. He comes in this weekend with no public offers but that could certainly change.

Hogue continues to have a really strong spring for UNRNKD 15u. He was an offensive bright spot on Friday night in what was otherwise a pretty ugly game. The 6’2″ guard was efficient from the field shooting 4-7, 2-5, 4-4 on his way to a team-leading 14 points. Hogue knocked in a pair of deep three-point shots on the left wing, one of which was converted into a four-point play, and used his athleticism to score off of the bounce a couple of times as well.

One of the stories of the weekend was UNRNKD EYCL 17u, especially their last two wins on Sunday over very good programs in West Michigan Premier and Ohio Buckets. Hogue was a key part of both of those impressive wins. The 6’2″ scoring guard had 19 points including five three-point shots in UNRNKD’s championship game win over the Ohio Buckets. Hogue also scored 21 in their earlier win over West Michigan Premier. He really proved himself as a scorer against a high-level of competition at the Run N Slam.

URNKND Hoops 17u had a tough time against two EYBL opponents in Indy Heat 17u and Meanstreets 17u, but this Fort Wayne Snider guard looked the part against the high-level competition. Hogue hit some deep three-point shots, looked strong and athletic off of the dribble, and held his own on the defensive side of the basketball. It will be interesting to see what type of recruitment Hogue picks up this spring and summer.

Hogue found several different ways to contribute to winning as the North All-Stars eventually pulled away for a 123-113 victory. The 6’2″ guard from Fort Wayne Snider High School finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. His athleticism really popped even while sharing the floor with the best of his peers from across the state. He is a part of a solid young core at Snider that will just keep getting better and better.

We know how talented Hogue is and that is why he is ranked as a Top 20 prospect in the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings. However, it is always good to see him flash his talent and get reassurance as to why we have him ranked so highly. That is exactly what Hogue provided while playing several UAA opponents this past weekend with Indiana Game 16u. He shoots the ball very well from three-point range, has the athleticism to finish up around the rim at the end of his drives, and rebounds the ball well from the guard position.
