One of a few freshman that got varsity action last year at South Ripley, Gunter will now be asked to step into a larger role this season for the Raiders. The athletic, 6’5″ forward plays with a great motor and is consistently involved in the reading effort. Offensively he finishes on the rim run and on the roll where he can utilizes his fluid athleticism and good footwork. As he continues to grow and fill out physically his game could really take a leap.

Another athletic energy forward on this team that did all the dirty work that make teams successful. High motor forward that sets good screens and crashes the boards hard. Did show some potential of a perimeter jumper, but did most of his damage around the basket. Defensively he was able to guard all over the floor while doing so at a high level.

One of a handful of Class of 2028 stars that are “next up” at South Ripley High School, this 6’5″ forward has a ton of upside. Gunter got his feet wet as a freshman for the Raiders, played at a high-level on the UAA Circuit with Progeny 15u, and now is ready to step into a larger role this winter. It will be good to see how he has developed at the Sophomore ID Camp.

Prep Hoops Indiana went to watch South Ripley practice in the fall, the Raiders went on to have an excellent season, and we’ve since seen Gunter some this spring for Progeny UAA 15u. However, we are excited to evaluate him going forward as he takes on a much larger role with his high school team. The 6’4″ forward plays very hard, has fluid athleticism at his size, and will be a part of an exciting young core going forward.

. Gunter is an athletic forward that is just so active with everything he does. He is a glass cleaner and has good mobility as well as a high motor. I see him stepping into a big time role for South Ripley come June and then be a sophomore to keep an eye on next season.

being one of them. Listed at 6’4″, Gunter is an athletic forward that is just so active with everything he does. He is a a glass cleaner and a player that would chase down his own shots as well. Really like the mobility he has on the floor and the high motor in which he plays in. Lots of upside.
