2027 Rankings are Updated

Ohio's 2027 rankings have been updated with 142 players now in our rankings. To view the full list click here. The list includes players for all levels of college basketball from every corner of the state.

The top spot remains the same as King Gibson King Gibson 6'5" | CG Spire Institute | 2027 State #7 Nation OH has hit the ground running at Spire as the consensus 5 star prospect is looking like one of the top guards in the country. Lakota West's Joshua Tyson Joshua Tyson 6'2" | PG Lakota West | 2027 State #87 Nation OH bumps up to number 2 in the rankings as the highest ranked OHSAA prospect, Tyson is coming off a Team USA Minicamp invite where he competed against some of the top 2026 and 2027 prospects in the country.

Spire holds spots 3-5 as Jaylan Mitchell Jaylan Mitchell 6'7" | PF Overtime Elite | 2027 #29 Nation GA , Charles Pur Charles Pur 6'9" | C Spire Institute | 2027 State #54 Nation OH and Darrell Davis Darrell Davis 5'11" | PG Spire Institute | 2027 State #138 Nation OH all project as high major caliber prospects.

OHSAA prospects take spots 6-8 as Isaiah Mack-Russell Isaiah Mack-Russell 6'5" | SF Winton Woods | 2027 State #126 Nation OH of Cincinnati Winton Woods, Shawn Foster Shawn Foster 6'2" | CG Lima Senior | 2027 State #118 Nation OH of Lima Sr and Bryce Curry Bryce Curry 6'3" | SG Lakota West | 2027 State #134 Nation OH of Lakota West are all coming off impressive summers and project to stand out during the OHSAA season for their teams that all have state title aspirations.

Rounding out the top 7 OHSAA prospects includes Tony Cornett III Tony Cornett III 6'6" | SF/SG Westerville North | 2027 State OH of Westerville North, A’Mire Gill A’Mire Gill 6'3" | SG Princeton | 2027 State OH of Cincinnati Princeton and Ben Mirgon Ben Mirgon 6'1" | PG Hilliard Bradley | 2027 State OH of Hilliard Bradley. Each of these prospects hold numerous Division I offers.

This class is incredibly deep as the emergence of Prep schools has allowed Ohio to add tons of out of state talent to our rankings. With players from programs like Spire, Western Reserve, Andrew's Osborne Academy and more appearing in these rankings, there has never been a class with as much Division I and scholarship level talent.
