HoopState 252 Tip-Off: Friday Standouts (Part Two)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we mentioned yesterday, The HoopState Network and Greenfield School come together every year and start the season off right by bringing in some of the tap talent in eastern and central NC under one roof to compete and test themselves right away! We had an awesome four game slate on Friday featuring some high level performances. Johnson is always getting downhill, comfortable spinning to either side and finishing with either hand. He has the outside touch to keep the defense honest, and is a constant above the rim threat with his athleticism. Does a great job excelling in the flow of the game. Knows where his spots are, gets to them, and hits with efficiency. He's comfortable attacking mismatches off the bounce, knows how to move without the ball, and does a nice job maintaining a rebounding presence. He did a nice job finishing around the rim, while also showing a great understanding of his teams offensive concepts and missions. Classic two big for a guard, too quick/skilled for a big and he's really embracing that. His level of production will take a major increase this season, as will his efficiency from three. On Friday night he helped Greenfield cruise to a dominant win with 11 Points in limited minutes as Coach Salter let his depth guys work late in the game. Despite being a new addition to a group that features a lot of retuning production, Dickens found a way to have an immediate impact without stepping on anyone's toes and he deserves a lot of credit for that. He excels in transition, does a great job playing alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1280933' first='Kobe' last='Edwards'], and is a pest defensively. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
