has had a special senior season full of magical moments along the way. Greenfield has played the kind of schedule that prepares teams for the kind of playoff run this group is looking to have. For Greenfield this season, Edwards is averaging 23.0 Points, 4.1 Rebounds, 6.9 Assists, 2.4 Steals, and 0.5 Blocks per game. All of that is on 49/32/79 splits as he’s improving both his percentage and volume from three over the previous years in his HS career. Edwards makes this team go, he’s their leader on and off the floor for a group with a lot of talent on it but nobody as in control or as experienced as Edwards. The break through they had winning the John Wall is something this group believes can help take them to the top of the NCISAA 2A classification. Edwards recently opened his recruitment up and is peaking at the right time heading into this playoff run. It would be a fairytale ending for what has been an impressive high school career for

The impact that he makes on game stretches far beyond his ability to score the ball but with that being said he is still one of the best in the state when it comes to putting the ball in the bucket. With numerous big-time performances against high level talent which includes a Tournament MVP performance over several days at the John Wall Holiday Invitational, he’s in the running for just about every Player of The Year Award in the state. Be on the lookout for his Greenfield squad as they are a favorite to win the NCISAA 2A State Championship.

Edwards was simply elite in crunch time at both ends of the floor in the championship win over Coronado. He used his quick feet and active hands on the defensive end along with his playmaking ability on the offensive end to help will his team back into the game and get the job done in overtime. Edwards finished with 20 Points, 6 Rebounds, 3 Assists, and 2 Steals in the win. He was 6-14 from the floor and 7-7 from the line to go with that. Edwards leadership played a major part in the win as well after a rough start from Greenfield, they were able to make the adjustments both philosophically and emotionally to find a way to get the job done. After recently re-opening his recruitment, it will be very interesting to see what

played one of the best games of his life in the semi-finals Vs Highland School. The Elon signee finished with 28 Points, 5 Assists, 4 Rebounds, and 2 Steals + the game winner of a lifetime, the pull up three heard around the world. Edwards controlled the entirety of this game and had to call his own number at the right times. He was able to get in a rhythm with the jump shot early, connecting on 4-7 from deep. He finished 12-20 from the floor and was a constant scoring threat from all areas of the floor. In a back and forth war with one of the most talented teams on the east coast, Edwards simply found a way to make the right plays at the right times. He was truly the best version of himself, and that is a really special player. His ability to captivate a crowd with his play and emotional leadership is truly something special.

Edwards dealt with early foul trouble only to come back in and manage the game in simply a masterful way. Edwards balanced the stat sheet with a 12 Point, 5 Assists, 4 Rebound effort with the bulk of that production in the 2nd half as Greenfield was holding down a lead. Edwards did his most useful work in long possessions as the game wound to a close. Every time Greenfield took 20+ seconds off the clock, Edwards made the right decision with the basketball. Both he and

delivered masterful performances in an incredibly intense and emotional game. Kobe did a really good job maintaining his poise throughout, especially in crunch time. This feels like a signature game in what has been a signature year for Edwards and Greenfield.

is playing the best basketball of his life right now. The blend of progression both physically and in his touch from the outside have allowed him to look like his best self. Always an unselfish player, Edwards is operating so freely as a passer. He has deep off the bounce range, keeping defenses honest and giving him more lanes to make plays off the bounce for himself or others. Kobe’s continued progression into this version of himself has been incredible to see, he has stayed diligent, he trusts his game and his teammates, allowing him to unlock their abilities as well. It is all coming together for Edwards and Greenfield as they embark on a state title journey, if he can keep this up, good luck stopping them. Elon looks smarter and smarter every weekend for going all in on the PG from Wilson.

Freshly committed to the Elon Phoenix Edwards is off the board and the highest ranked prospect in the area code by multiple recruiting platforms. Even tho their stats from last season are unavailable if you went to a Greenfield game his impact was very visible. Night in and out he contributed to every the game every way possible, with nifty passes that led to assists, step back pull up jumpers from all over the floor, and the occasional chase down block. If the Greenfield Knights want a chance at winning the NCISAA 2A state championship they will need a big year from Edwards.

The Elon signee delivered a really special outside shooting performance in his own barn on Saturday night that had the whole gym locked in from the opening tip. 38 points on 23 shots is a recipe for success every time. Kobe found his spots from beyond the arc and in the mid-range, connecting early and often. As he faced more attention defensively, he gave the ball up to a teammate for an easy basket. His improved physique and outside touch are paying incredible early dividends for Greenfield who looks like a real threat in the NCISAA 2A title picture.

Edwards is an athletic guard with a long wingspan and uses his change of pace to keep defenders off balance. He uses his high IQ to make the right play. Edwards has 3pt range so defenders have to come out and guard him.
