and the other pieces at Greenfield this season. With his reclassification to the 2027 class, it made sense to rank Dickens among other full scholarship level players as he’ll enter into more of a primary offensive role in the backcourt at Greenfield next season. This season, Dickens averaged 10.0 Points, 2.8 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, and 1.4 Steals per game on 45/36/76 shooting splits. Dickens calling card is his ability as a point of attack defender. He might have the best foot speed of anyone in the 2027 class. He’s a dynamic downhill driver in the half-court and transition and proved to be a more than reliable secondary playmaker alongside of

was sidelined with foul trouble. Dickens was a real spark plug in a monster win for Greenfield. He finished with 16 Points, and 3 Assists on 5-8 from the floor while connecting on 6-9 from the free throw line. Dickens is a perfect compliment to Edwards and now it’s showing on the biggest stages. He’s a no brainer full scholarship level kid that should continue to make major strides in his game. He played today with an incredible sense of confidence and belief in his ability to get the job done. His belief was more than validated with his performance.

Dickens was really impressive this weekend, particularly with what he did in Greenfield’s Saturday win over Prince George Christian. His constant ball pressure and presence in the passing lanes allowed Greenfield to disrupt the rhythm of the opposition at different times throughout the game. He used his dynamic end to end speed to get to the basket in transition and finished extremely well around the rim on the break. He made timely plays at both ends of the floor and that is proving to be a theme for Greenfield early on this season.

On Friday night Greenfield was dominant and Dickens was a consistent presence throughout the game. Despite being a new addition to a group that features a lot of retuning production, Dickens found a way to have an immediate impact without stepping on anyone’s toes and he deserves a lot of credit for that. He excels in transition, does a great job playing alongside

Wilson Prep had a down year, in terms of the success they have experienced in the last few seasons, the lead scoring combo guard was one of the few bright spots. Averaging just under 17 points he does a good job of getting downhill and finishing with a multitude of crafty finishes, while also being a solid option on the defensive end. He will be running with Garner Road National team this year.

Every year since they joined the NCHSAA Wilson Prep has had a contributor from the previous year’s squad take a massive jump forward. This year it’s the 6’1 combo guard Dickens, a pesk on the defensive end he has a nice knack for getting to the rim while filling up the stat sheet. If Prep makes a run to the title expect Dickens to be a major part of the equation.
